On a hot summer day last year I was at the Ceres boat rolling event and overheard a couple of teachers, along with David Schein, talking about an exchange between Addison County and Awassa Ethiopia teachers. My interest was immediately peeked and I not so subtly asked if they needed/wanted any other teachers to be involved. Much to my great happiness they said yes. And there my adventure began!
After a great deal of work by a number of committed individuals it is now a reality. Fve teachers from Vergennes and Monkton Vermont will be heading to Awassa Ethiopia on February 8th for two weeks. So exciting.
